With Chalet Zuegg on Meran 2000, the Reiterer family – owners of the renowned Hotel Chalet Mirabell in Hafling – has created a new retreat in the mountains. At an altitude of 1,820 meters, an ensemble of three exclusive chalets, a loft suite and a loft room has been built, nestled into the alpine landscape at the foot of Mount Ifinger.

The new Chalet Zuegg combines contemporary architecture with regional building traditions and sustainable material choices. In addition to the private hideaways for guests, the newly reinterpreted Restaurant Zuegg forms the convivial heart of the project – a meeting place for food lovers, hikers, and skiers alike.

PLANTEAM was responsible for the technical implementation of the project including implementation planning, structural engineering, site supervision and health & safety coordination.

Result: A place where architecture, nature, and comfort meet in perfect harmony – technically precise in its planning, sustainably realised, and executed with attention to every detail.
