The New SS 125 “Orientale Sarda,” Section 2 of Lot 4 between Tertenia and Tortolì in the province of Ogliastra, is a significant infrastructure project aimed at improving regional road connectivity. As planners and safety coordinators, we ensure precise and secure execution.
The project spans 4.40 km and includes a total of 510 meters of bridges and viaducts. The longest bridge measures 230 meters and features eight spans. The viaducts are designed with a roadway width of 5.25 meters, while the open sections have a width of 3.75 meters. These structures ensure smooth traffic flow and are built to withstand heavy loads.
Our planning takes into account the geological and topographical challenges, including river crossings and adapting to the natural terrain. The use of elastomeric bearings ensures optimal load distribution and minimizes vibrations, enhancing the structural stability of the bridges.
Through careful coordination and planning, we ensure that all safety aspects are considered, creating a modern, efficient, and durable road infrastructure that meets the region’s needs.
